Josh Glazer

Born in the Quaker State, and raised in Michigan, the boy who would become Joshua Glazer quickly found his love for Music Journalism by tending to his Janes Addiction scrapbook in high school. Living in the Motor City following his graduation from Michigan State University gave Josh the roots for what he would become. Spending his early adult years promoting techno heavy nights in the birthplace of the genre, Mr. Glazer was working with some of the largest names in the electronic genre at Detroit's famed Motor night club. He is currently found residing as the Editor and Content Director of URB Magazine, and the newly launched URB.com. He has been writing about music for a decade while also continuing to promote club nights and DJ as half the Mid-City West All Stars. Previous to working at URB Magazine Josh was a staff writer at Real Detroit Weekly and has also been published in Velocity Magazine, All Music Guide and on iTunes. He claims to not have bought a CD since 2004, but fills that void by compulsively spending several hundred dollars a month at magazine stands.
