Lynnel HerreraLynnel Herrera is the Artist Relations Director for Flavorpill, the NYC-based weekly to-do list for the underground culturati. Her prescient eye (and ear) for the next big thing and a series of fortunate events have partnered Herrera with Restless and Geffen Records, where she met (soon to be Fenway Recordings founder) then VP of A&R Mark Kates. Under Kates' tutelage, she worked with indie legends Jawbreaker and Sonic Youth, Seattle-scene gods Nirvana, and alt-rock heroes Elastica and Beck.
After working independently as a music consultant in film, fashion, and commercial marketing on both coasts, Herrera settled in as Communications It Girl and jill-of-all-trades with Flavorpill, curating talent for their infamous Halloween parties, WIRED's launch party for 'The Long Tail' book release, the perpetually sold-out First Fridays at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and Fridays Off the 405 parties at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Herrera is currently developing the lineups for Flavorpill's newest multimedia soiree, One Step Beyond, at the American Museum of Natural History.
